Why DSS
Daniel Schembri is the Chief Executive Officer of Koperattivi Malta, the apex organisation representing cooperative societies across the Maltese Islands. With over a decade of experience, he has coached thousands of professionals in building successful teams through effective leadership, staff engagement, and personalised development. His expertise spans various sectors, including education, care, and corporate organisations.
Schembri's academic background includes a BA(Hons) in Social Work from the University of Malta, a Diploma in Counselling from the UK, and a Degree in Educational Leadership and Partnership Coaching. He is also a certified mediator and a registered social worker. His extensive experience in leadership development has led him to create and deliver programmes focusing on leadership, reflective practice, employee motivation, business strategy, and company culture.
Additionally, Schembri has been instrumental in promoting Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) among private enterprises, legislators, and regulators, and has represented Koperattivi Malta at various international forums.
